And we're off! Number 105 is hanging on the wall ready for a couple of coats of gesso.

Two gesso layers were added. Then the board was sanded and covered with a custom light grey mix of Golden acrylic heavy body paint.

Unlike the other paintings in this series I'm starting with a pattern of colors. This makes sense to me. I'm always slipping back into attempting to control my outer reality and these patterns reveal that tendency of mine.
