The gesso and base coat of has been applied. I chose not to sand the board after the gesso was applied. It resulted in a rough surface that I later regretted.

A few marks have been made. As with all of my paintings at this point I have zero idea where it will end up.

Most of my attention has been on other pieces in this collection. But taking baby steps is vital for maintaining s smidge of momentum.

I've abandoned my bat gammon board color inspiration, it simply didn't feel right. I was bored when I stood in front of the painting. Also, I decided to name this piece "Think Bigger."

I've making more lines. This piece feels like it will never be just he way I want it to. So I keep going, hoping that sooner or later we will reach the end.
